Our customers send in their "Recipes" using Spivey's
Sauce. Feel free to use them, or change them.....or send in your

Steak Sauce
The McGee family suggests charcoaled T-Bones
cooked rare to medium rare with each mouthful of steak dipped
in Spivey's Sauce. Mac says the sauce even makes hamburger taste
like a steak-burger.

Spivey's Ultimate Bloody Mary
1-1/2 jiggers vodka
3/4 cup tomato juice
1 tablespoon Spivey's Sauce
A splash of tabasco
Several cubes of ice
Mix ingredients in medium-sized glass. Garnish
rim with section of lime and fresh celery stick for a festive
look. Emilio says sip at your own leisure and please don't drive
or fly after drinking!

Denver Omelette
Scramble 3 eggs in a pan and let sit as you
prepare the other ingredients.
1/2 cup diced green pepper
1/2 cup diced red peppers
Some jaleopeno's
1/4 cup chopped onions
Cut celery
1/2 cup chopped ham or sausage
1/2 cup Monteray Jack cheese/cheddar
1/4 cup Spivey's Sauce
Add ingredients to scrambled eggs. Fry up as
desired. Tom likes to cover his omelette with the sauce before
eating.

"Spivey" Chicken?
4 Small boneless chicken breast w/o skin
Puncture chicken with sharp fork
Put pepper, garlic salt and parmesean cheese on top
Cut up 1 Vidalla onion and place on top
1 small can of drained mushrooms
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 jigger of white cooking wine
1/2 cup water with 1/3 bottle of Spivey's Sauce mixed in
Cover with foil and cook at about 300 degrees for about 1-1/2
hour
Vegetable Soup
2 lb beef stew 1 ½ in cubes
1 ½ teaspoons salt
3 oz Spivey's Sauce
4 cups water
3 cups celery chopped
3 cups carrots cut
3 cups white potatoes cubed
1 cup onions chopped
Arrange beef in 3 quart pot, cook one hour.
Sprinkle with salt, add Spivey's Sauce and cook until almost done.
Then add all vegetables. Cook for one more hour then soup will
be ready to serve.
Spivey's Sauce Meat Loaf
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 pounds lean ground beef
¼ cup cracker crumbs
2 large eggs
1 medium onion minced
1 ½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
3 oz Spivey's Sauce
1 cup catsup
Combine all ingredients. Top meat loaf with
Spivey's Sauce and catsup. Cook for one hour. Ready to serve.
Barbecued Beef on a Bun
Cook 3 pounds beef cut in chunks (cook 2 hours)
6 oz Spivey's Sauce
4 tablespoons parsley flakes
4 tablespoons onion flakes
When beef has cooked, take all ingredients
and beef and mix well. Place on hot buns. Ready to serve. Use
with side dish of soup.
Baked Chicken
Time 1 hour 15 minutes
1 fryer chicken - around 3 pounds
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons margarine
1/8 teaspoon thyme
3 oz Spivey's Sauce
Place chicken in baking dish. Sprinkle
with salt and pepper. Cover with Spivey's Sauce and with little
pieces of margarine. Let bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Short Ribs of Beef
Cooking Time 1 hour 10
minutes
2 pounds meaty beef chuck short ribs
1 onion sliced
4 potatoes peeled and cut
4 carrots sliced
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup Spivey's Sauce
Arrange ribs bone side up in a 3 quart
casserole. Arrange onion over ribs. Arrange potatoes and carrots
around ribs. Sprinkle with salt, pour Spivey's Sauce over ribs
and vegetables. Cook 1 hour and 10 minutes at 300 degrees. Ready
to serve.
Tenderloin of Beef Supreme
Cooking time 1 ½
hour
1 beef tenderloin roast 2 ½ lbs
3 tablespoons of minced onion
2 tablespoons of orange peel grated
½ pounds mushrooms sliced
½ cup Spivey's Sauce
Place tenderloin roast in 3 quart casserole
dish. Sprinkle minced onions and orange peels over roast. Slice
mushrooms over top of roast, top with Spivey's Sauce. Cook for
1 ½ hour at 300 degrees.
Roasted Duckling
Cooking Time 1 ¾

1 ducking 4 lbs
Giblets removed
Salt & pepper to taste
Rinse duckling in cold water, pat dry.
Pierce skin all over to allow fat to drain. Place ducking breast
side up in baking dish. Brush on Spivey's Sauce. Duckling is ready
to bake at 325 degrees 1 hour 45 minutes.
Heavenly Cornish Hens
Cooking Time 85 minutes
2 Cornish hens 1 ½ pounds each
3 tablespoons Spivey's Sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Split hens length-wise. Rinse hens in
cool water and pat dry. Mix Spivey's Sauce, honey and brown sugar
together. Brush mixture all over the hens, place in dish and bake
for 85 minutes until golden brown.
Fish Fillets
Cooking Time 30 minutes
1 pound fish fillets ½ inch thick
Arrange fillets in round or oval dish
with thickets parts turned outside of dish. Then brush well with
Spivey's Sauce. Top with lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
Bake 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
Fish Steak
Cooking Time 35 minutes
2 Halibut Steaks ½ pound each, 1 inch
thick
2 tablespoons butter melted
2 teaspoons lemon juice
½ teaspoons Dillweed (optional)
2 tablespoons Spivey's Sauce
Arrange fish in round dish with thickest
part up. Combine butter, lemon juice and Spivey's Sauce. Brush
over fish, sprinkle with Dill weed. Cook 35 minutes.
Grilled Swordfish Steaks
Cooking Time 25 minutes
4 Swordfish Steaks ½ lbs each
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
3 tablespoons Spivey's Sauce
Mix vegetable oil, lemon pepper and Spivey's
Sauce together. Brush on each side of Swordfish Steaks, place
in dish and cook for 25 minutes.
Stuffed Mountain Trout
Cooking Time 40 minutes
2 trout ½ pound each
¼ cup butter melted
½ cup instant onions
4 teaspoons slivered almonds
4 teaspoons minced parsley
8 mushrooms sliced (optional)
¼ cup Spivey's Sauce
Rinse trout in cool water, pat dry. Place
in shallow baking dish and brush with butter. Stuff with some
of the onions, almonds, parsley and mushrooms. Pour remaining
butter over trout. Sprinkle with remaining onions, almonds and
parsley. Arrange remaining mushroom around trout.
Scrambled Eggs
Cooking Time 3 minutes
3 large eggs
2 tablespoons low fat milk
6 tablespoons (1 ½) ounce shredded cheddar cheese
2 teaspoons Spivey's Sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Break eggs in small bowl. Add milk, mix
well with fork. Add cheese, salt and pepper. Blend well. Place
in pan, cook 3 minutes.
Puffy Cheddar Omelet
Cook 22 minutes, 325 degrees
4 large eggs, separated
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon margarine
½ cup (2 oz) grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon minced parsley
Beat egg white until a soft peak forms.
Beat yolks, mayonnaise and water. Gently fold whites into yolk
mixture, set aside. Place butter in 9 inch pie place, place in
oven to melt margarine. Pour in egg mixture, sprinkle grated cheese.
Cook 22 minutes at 325 degrees.
Peppered Steak
Cooking Time 45 minutes
1 top round steak 1 ½ pounds, ½
inch thick
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic minced
2 teaspoons corn starch
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 green peppers cut into 1 inch cubes (2 cups)
1 thinly sliced onion
2 large stalks of celery sliced
1 cup water
1 jar chopped pimentos drained
1 ½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
3 oz Spivey's Sauce
Cut steak into ¼ inch strips, set
aside. Pour oil into 2 quart casserole, place in oven to heat.
Put steak in oil and let cook for 20 minutes, stirring 2-3 times.
Then take casserole and all other ingredients and cook 25 minutes
more. Pepper Steak will be ready to serve.
